Who is Jesus?
Jesus is the Son of God.
He is the one spoken of in the Gospel of John 3: 16-18 (ESV)
“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.
17 For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him. 18 Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only Son of God”.
Jesus is the Christ (Messiah) that came in the flesh, died on the cross and was raised again to life on the third day by the power of God and now sits at the right hand of God. It is only through believing this in one’s heart and confessing it with our mouth that we can be saved.
The Sinner's Prayer For Salvation
Lord forgive me for my sins.
I believe that you sent Jesus your son to die on the cross for me.
I believe in my heart that you are the son of God and that you love me.
I confess with my mouth that I am a sinner.
I accept Jesus as my lord and savior.
Cleanse me from my sin and create a new and clean heart in me.
I believe that you are my savior
and I now want to live for you as my Lord and My God.
Thank you GOD
